President

Roberto Herrera is a director and country manager of Interenergy Group for the Dominican Republic. At AMCHAMDR, in addition to his functions as president, he heads the Organizing Committee for the Dominican Week in the United States.

Vice president

He is the current President of the AES Dominicana group and the AES Dominicana Foundation. He has participated in negotiations on trade agreements such as DR-CAFTA, CARICOM...

Treasurer

She is a recognized entrepreneur in the tourism industry in the Dominican Republic. Together with her family, she has been a promoter of the country's main tourist destination: Punta Cana.

Secretary

She is a specialist in negotiation, digital transformation, innovation and information and communication technologies. She currently holds the position of Executive President of NAP del Caribe, a company where she has consolidated her expansion and operation as the safest, most innovative and best interconnected technology center in the Caribbean.

Executive vice-president

William Malamud joined the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic in 1998. As executive vice president of AMCHAMDR, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of one of the largest business organizations in the Dominican Republic, representing more than 1,600 corporations.

Director

Since 2011 he has been the General Manager of Álvarez y Sánchez, a company he joined in 1991 and which is dedicated to the import and distribution of food and wine.

She has extensive experience in legal management in the mining, electricity, corporate tax, and procurement sectors. She is the president of Barrick Pueblo Viejo, which she joined in 2009 as Legal Director, having worked as a legal consultant for the mining project since its inception in 2003.
